Trim Levels

Have you ever wondered what the combination of letters are after a vehicle’s name?

They may seem random, but they’re the vehicle’s trim level designators. The trim levels can consist of different features for exterior, interior, electronic, performance, mechanical, or safety. See many trim level meanings and examples below.

The Standard Level (SL) includes a four-cylinder engine, 17in silver aluminum wheels, 7in infotainment display, noise cancellation, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, 6 speaker audio system, hotspot, cloth upholstery, leather steering wheel, keyless entry and start, flat fold front seats, and traction select system.

The Standard Level Extra (SLE) includes most of the SL features with the addition of body-color mirror caps, power adjustable heated exterior mirrors, and release levers in cargo area for back row seats.

The Standard Level Touring (SLT) includes most of the SLE features, but has leather upholstery, 18in aluminum wheels, 8in display, heated seats, climate control, remote start, roof rails, and backup camera.

The Denali has most of the SLT features except a 2.0L turbo engine, 19in aluminum wheels with grey accents, 7 speaker audio system, parking assist, cross traffic alert, blind zone alert, navigation system, LED headlamps, heated steering wheel, and wireless charging.
